St. Baldrick’s Works to Give Kids with Cancer More Than Five Years - Together, we can #ConquerKidsCancer

Get Married. ✔️ Go Bald. ✔️ ➡️➡️➡️ I have been a passionate volunteer for St. Baldricks since 2011. Seven years ago, I made them a promise -- they could have my hair, but they'd have to wait until after I was married. 👰 🤵 And that's exactly what will be happening in March 2018 -- just TWO DAYS after we're married, I will be shaving off my long purple hair & GOING BALD for children's cancer research. 🍀 Help us find better, safer treatments for these kids! My goal is to raise $10,000! 🎉

Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is recognized every September by childhood cancer organizations around the world. With a goal to increase awareness and raise funds for those affected by childhood cancer, September is the best opportunity to rally interest and to get others involved in the cause. AppD Cares is fortunate to have a group of impactful global nonprofit partners dedicated to finding cures and making sure that Childhood Cancer will eventually become a thing of the past. In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, AppD Cares has donated $20,000 split evenly to Children with Cancer UK, the Care-for-Rare Foundation (Germany), St. Jude Children’s Research Center and St. Baldrick’s.

How can you conquer kids’ cancer? Since no hospital has a monopoly on good ideas, St. Baldrick’s funds the most promising research — no matter where it happens. Choosing that research takes more than 200 experts. Funding it takes people like you! Together, we support more childhood cancer research grants than any other charity.
