Hurricane Milton Relief Fund
Hurricane Milton made landfall near Siesta Key, Florida on October 9th, 2024 as a powerful Category 3 hurricane. More than 3 million households were left without power as the storm traveled from Florida's western coast through central Florida and into the Atlantic. Severe flooding and damage to homes, businesses and infrastructure were left in the storm's wake, and multiple fatalities were reported as tornadoes connected to the storm's weather patterns touched down in St. Lucie County. An estimated 11 million people are at risk of flash flooding and there are reports of downed power lines, trees, and other forms of potentially dangerous debris left behind due to the storm's powerful winds.
