About

The Smokehouse Creek Wildfire, originating in Texas, is the second-largest wildfire in state history. This wildfire, along with several other fires, have spread throughout the Texas Panhandle, Oklahoma, and Kansas, devastating various communities. Many have faced displacement from their homes and livelihoods, and access to resources has been limited. The following organizations are providing relief to those impacted by the wildfires by providing immediate and long-term relief efforts.

Amarillo Area Foundation Inc

The Amarillo Area Foundation's Panhandle Disaster Relief Fund was designed to assist those impacted by wildfires and other natural disasters in the Texas panhandle.

Austin Disaster Relief Network

The Austin Disaster Relief Network is collecting donations to go towards relief efforts to those impacted by the wildfires.

Hutchinson County United Way Inc

Hutchinson County United Way has created a disaster relief fund for those impacted by the 2024 wildfires. Donations will help meet long term needs for area residents as they work towards returning to their homes.

American National Red Cross

The American Red Cross is providing disaster relief across Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.

Ashland Community Foundation

The Ashland Community Foundation's Wildfire Relief Fund will utilize all donations to help support those impacted by the wildfires in Kansas, Texas, and Oklahoma.

High Plains Food Bank

The High Plains Food Bank is actively collecting donations to help supply food, water, and supplies to those impacted.

Working Ranch Cowboys Foundation

The WRCA Foundation provides support to ranchers and their families facing significant hardship, and has created a disaster relief fund to provide relief to those impacted by the wildfires.
