Islamic Relief USA
Islamic Relief Indonesia is on the ground providing vital humanitarian aid. Past Islamic Relief efforts in Indonesia began in 2000; the Jakarta office opened in 2003 to implement and maintain long-term relief and development programs. IRUSA’s previous efforts include comprehensive aid given following the 2004 tsunami that devastated the country. Islamic Relief affiliates continue to work on rehabilitation projects in response to natural disasters that have hit the area.
Save the Children
Save the Children is responding with emergency assistance. Save the Children has worked in Indonesia for more than three decades. They have responded to nearly all of the natural disasters that occurred in the region.

CRS’ local partners Caritas Makassar and Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC) are en route to Donggala and Palu in Sulawesi. Knowing that time is of the essence, their partners are racing to overcome extreme logistical challenges to get to the scene as fast as possible.
