-Who: #a-fam and #wunder-queers -What: joint movie night fundraiser -When: 6PM EST on Tuesday June 27th, 2023 -Where: NYC: 1WTC Atrium -Why: Explore and dissect the intersectionality between queerness and Asianhood via food, movie, and dialogue We will be catering Malaysian food from the iconic Kopitiam, one of the only Asian-owned, queer-owned institutions in the world. Founder and chef, Kyo Pang will give a speech prior to the movie screening, where we explore the lived LGBTQ+ experiences within the Asian diaspora.
