Care
CARE is preparing an immediate surge in 18 of the most vulnerable countries, at a minimum cost of $200,000 per country. Their fundraising goal for a comprehensive immediate and long-term response is $30 million. Immediate priorities include: 20,000 hygiene kits – containing crucial items like soap and diapers – at $35 each and 10,000 handwashing stations – where people at risk of infection can practice safe hygiene – at $50 each. Their COVID 19 response draws on CARE’s experience like the fight against Ebola, SARS and cholera providing access to safe water, hygiene kits and hygiene education.
Water Mission
Water Mission will provide urgently needed safe water, sanitation, and hygiene solutions to under-resourced communities in developing nations.
